Mark & Liza – Impromptu Session
I know this is backwards, as I usually post engagement pictures well before the wedding, but in this case I just met Mark & Liza a few days before the ceremony. At the consultation meeting we decided to take a few quick shots so they could get used to being in front of the camera. Although the session only lasted a few minutes, we got some killer shots. Here are three of my favs
Mark & Liza – Wedding – 09/27/2008
We photographed Liza & Mark’s wedding on saturday. They traveled over 5,000 KM, all the way from Whitehorse, Yukon to get married in London!! It was such a blast working with “our biggest fans!” 🙂 We instantly felt like old time friends with them. We had amazing weather to work with, amazing locations and of course amazing people! Here are some of our favs from the wedding! I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
Mark & the boys
We had to get a picture with our “biggest fans” 🙂
Mike & Jodi – Wedding
We photographed Mike & Jodi’s wedding on saturday. It was a picture perfect day! Beautiful wedding, fun people, just an absolute pleasure! The wedding took place in Mike’s parents backyard and was perfect. Could not have asked for better weather for an outdoor wedding in september.
Mike’s family own Mackie’s in Port Stanley so we went down there afterwards for pictures, I think the shots there turned out great!
Here are some of our favs from the day.
Jodi & the girls.

Let the party begin!
Adam & Krista – Wedding – Sept 13/2008
Rain, rain & more rain! That pretty much summed up the wedding on saturday! It rained non stop for the four hours that I was there on saturday. But despiste that, everybody was in a great mood! The rain couldn’t spoil the day for them.
We made the best of what we had to work with and I think the pictures turned out great!!! I got a little wet and my cameras got soaked, but it was all worth it!
Here are my favs from the day.
Krista & the girls.
Adam & his best man
Waiting to walk down the aisle with her dad.
Seeing her for the first time
Through the door window of the church
The wedding party
I love this one, I think it’s my favourite of the day.
I wasn’t really expecting this, but it made for some cool shots! Krista wanted to spin in her wedding dress in the rain!
Jeff & Joelle – Engagement Session
tographed Jeff & Joelle’s engagement session last night at Pinafore. I love this weather! The light disappears fast! but it’s such great light for photos. They were a little nervous at first, but they came around quickly and we had a great time!
Here are some of my favs from the session
This next one was sort of funny, there were these “punk” kids who just couldn’t wait for us to get out of the way and had to skateboard right in between us! I think Joelle was thinking of tripping him? lol 😉
New visitors to the blog!
Just wanted to say “hi” to all the new visitors to our blog! We plan to update this after every shoot we do with our “favs” from the session.

Lauren & Jesse – Wedding – Sept 6th, 2008
Photographed Lauren & Jesse’s wedding this past weekend. It was a great day for a wedding! not too hot, but not cold either, a beautiful fall day.
Very fun couple to work with as I already mentioned when I did their engagement session a few months ago.
Here are some of our favs from the wedding.

And I’ll just let this last one explain itself 🙂

Welcome to the new blog!
Welcome to the new blog for Toogood Studios! We have been so busy the last month or so getting ready to launch this new website & blog. It is still heavily under contruction and will have more content loaded shortly, but please take a few moments to check out our new webpage http://www.toogoodstudios.ca
This is the third name change for myself since I started this business almost five years ago, but I believe this is truly the direction forward. Digital ISO became Jeff Toogood Photography, and Jeff Toogood has now partnered with Angela Davis to form Toogood Studios.
Angela & I have worked together for the last 9 months and over that time we have been a great team. We constantly motivate and inspire each other. We love working together and can’t wait to work with you in the future as a team.
The future for Toogood Studios? We have moved into our new studio at 574 Talbot Street in St. Thomas, the former “Shutter Studios” location. New signs and decor will be done shortly. We will be prominent in the wedding photography market, and have plans to explore family portraits, maternity photography, commercial & event photography. Basically anything we can take a picture of 🙂
So please be patient with us as we get everything started up, but we are excited for the future and hope to be working with you soon!
I leave you with a few photos from a shoot we did with Phil Bell for some pictures of us for the new site.
Too cool! lol
